Notch editor supports different writing formats, interactive blocks, helpful ways to organize your content and more.

Elements in Notch are the building blocks of your content. They allow you to create and customize your spaces with a wide range of options, from simple text blocks to more advanced features like signatures and offers. Whether you're drafting a document, gathering approvals, or creating a proposal, elements help you tailor the space to your specific needs.

Inserting a new element block

You can insert a new element block below an existing block using your mouse:

  1. Hover over the element above the place you need the new element.

  2. Click on the + icon that appears on the left to open the insert palette.

  3. Select the elemnt you want from the drop-down menu to insert it.

Alternatively, on a new line, you can press / to launch the insert palette, which lists all the available elements. You can scroll through the list to find the one you want, or use your keyboard to search for the block you want, navigate up and down the list, and insert it with Enter.
