The Notch Editor is where you build and customize your Notch Space. Understand how to add and manage elements, move them around, and use shortcuts in the editor.
A Notch Space is made up of Element Blocks. These are the basic units you use to organize content in your Space. You can add as many Elements as you need from the Element List.
Permissions - Only team member can edit pages. External recipients only can interact with these elements
To add an Element to your Space, you can:
Type "/": This brings up the Element List, where you can pick the Element you want to add.
Click the "+" Icon: When you hover over an existing Element, a "+" icon will appear next to it. Clicking this icon also opens the Element List.
After selecting an Element, it will appear in your Space.
You can drag and drop any Element in your Space to arrange them however you like.
Each Element has options that you can access by clicking on the Drag Handle:
Duplicate: Make a copy of the Element.
Remove: Delete the Element from your Space.
Additional Options: Some Elements have extra settings that you can access here.
You can select one or more Elements at the same time:
Select Elements: Use your cursor to select multiple Elements.
Drag and Drop: Move all the selected Elements together.
Bulk Actions: You can duplicate or remove multiple Elements at once using the options menu.
You can also use standard browser shortcuts to navigate and work within the Notch Editor. These shortcuts can help you work faster by allowing you to move around and perform actions quickly.
